Accurate as-built data is the foundation of any good retrofit or refurbishment design. Our LiDAR-equipped drones capture the existing fabric of a building — inside and out — to millimetre-grade accuracy, producing point clouds that drop straight into Revit, AutoCAD, ArchiCAD or Rhino. No more guessing at ceiling voids, riser shafts or that section of roof that nobody can safely measure.
We have supported architectural practices on listed and heritage projects where conventional measured surveys were impractical, and on commercial retrofits where the design programme could not wait for scaffold access. The drone reaches voids, towers, parapets and lightwells in a fraction of the time, and the captured data remains a permanent record of the existing structure long after the survey is complete.
Typical deliverables: registered point cloud (E57 / RCP), orthographic elevations, plan-view orthomosaics, a navigable 3D model and high-resolution stills of any area of design interest.
